You need the Artec Studio software to operate Artec 3D scanners.
If you use the handheld scanner Artec Eva or (Space) Spider, you can only start the scanning process via the software. The software is also required for further processing of the raw data.
If you scan with the Artec Leo, the raw data must be further processed in Artec Studio.

If you do not have your own Artec Studio software, you must rent the Laptop.

The rental laptop exceeds the necessary system requirements of Artec Studio (Intel i7, 32 GB RAM, Nvidia GTX2080 - or comparable Computer)

For larger scan jobs, it makes sense to purchase an annual license of Artec Studio.

Please note when using with Artec Leo:

The import of Leo projects from external accounts is not possible! You must make sure that the Artec Leo and the Artec Studio software are logged in with the same account.
Only after importing the data from Leo and saving an Artec Studio project a further processing of the Artec Studio file with a third-party account is possible.
When renting the Artec Leo and the laptop, both devices are logged in with the same account by Default.

Notes:

The offer is determined by the availability of the laser scanner! You can inform about the costs of a laser scanner rental offer online by requesting a quote quickly and easily.
The laptop will be delivered at the first day of rental (in Germany till 10.30 a.m., outside Germany during the day) and collected on the last day of rental.
The calculation of the rental period is made on a daily basis by working days (Monday - Saturday).
For actuarial purposes, a security deposit of 500 EUR will be demanded in advance. This caution will be cleared at the end of rental.
The offer price applies when you collect the device in our rental office in Magdeburg. Shipping will be possible; shipping will be invoiced extra according to expenditure.
The rental offer applies to the use of the rented device within Germany. On request, other countries are possible.

Before the start of rental, a verification of the ability to handle the software will be required. We optionally offer a training.
