The Apache 3 from CHCNAV is a compact and powerful USV (Unmanned Surface Vehicle) designed for precise bathymetric surveys in lakes, rivers, and coastal areas. Thanks to its low weight, shallow-draft design, and ease of transport, it is particularly well-suited for use in hard-to-reach or remote areas where conventional survey boats reach their limits.
The system is equipped with a built-in single-beam echo sounder as well as high-precision GNSS and IMU technology, enabling the collection of reliable depth and position data. Even under challenging conditions such as currents or rough water, intelligent sensor fusion ensures stable and precise measurement results.
The rugged, one-piece carbon-fiber hull offers high durability combined with reduced weight. Together with its compact design, this enables easy one-person operation and rapid deployment on-site – ideal for flexible surveying tasks and efficient workflows.
With its powerful drive system, the Apache 3 reaches speeds of up to 4.5 m/s and offers an operating time of up to 4 hours. Hot-swappable batteries ensure uninterrupted operation even during longer missions.
Autonomous route guidance enables precise navigation along predefined measurement lines, while seamless 4G communication ensures a stable connection. Through the Android-based EasySail software, users have access to features such as live data display, video transmission, route planning, and data collection and processing – all directly via the remote control, without the need for additional external devices.
