The newest product of our UltraX series is a highly accurate reference sphere that is equipped with two M8 connectors located opposite to each other. Beside the many benefits, which result from the material and highly accurate fabrication of our UltraX spheres, the reference sphere provides a further advantage: Two connectors are integrated into this sphere; the connectors are located exactly in the diameter of the sphere. Thus, you can easily measure the position of a sphere by means of a total station or GPS during the scanning process. When aligned vertically, the mirror or GPS receiver is positioned exactly above the sphere's center.
